SwitchWorks Technologies

SwitchWorks is a Canadian company, established in Toronto in 1988. Founder and President Rick Ross graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Engineering Science and went to work for a company that designed and manufactured routers, switches, and terminals for X.25 networks. There he learned about the Internet before it was called the Internet. Intrigued with the possibilities of the new technology that would ultimately connect people and places around the world, Rick focused his entrepreneurial talents on building his own "switched network" using the latest in wireless technology to service business and residential customers such as new commercial developments that were springing up in areas where there were not yet any wires to deliver communications services. Today, SwitchWorks provides Internet and telephone services to residential customers, small businesses, and large corporations and organizations all over Southern Ontario. At SwitchWorks, we recognize that reliable Internet service is important to you, and we view our role in delivering your services to be mission-critical. Our top priority is to provide high-quality, reliable services and top-notch customer service to all our customers.
