SWITS
Southern Wisconsin Interpreting & Translation Services, Ltd. was founded in 2002 in Delavan, Wisconsin by Saul Arteaga. As a practicing interpreter, he noticed that the surrounding community was in need of qualified interpreters and began to form a team of spoken and sign language interpreters to serve local healthcare systems, government and judicial organizations, and businesses. As interest in language services increased, SWITS expanded its interpreting services to other regions of Wisconsin and added other services to accommodate the needs of its clients. The complete selection of services now includes on-site and telephone interpreting, video remote interpreting, translation, transcription, and interpreter training. SWITS has been recognized by the independent market research firm, Common Sense Advisory, as one of the top 40 language service providers in North America for two consecutive years. At SWITS, we are committed to meeting the language needs of our clients, whether we are supplementing an internal language services team or acting as an exclusive provider. We provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We serve clients from various fields, many requiring short notice services, such as child protective services, crisis intervention hotlines, healthcare systems, and police departments. We believe providing services around the clock, every day of the year, demonstrates the effectiveness of and dedication to our mission.
