Innovation and invention has been at the heart of Scot Young Research since its beginnings in 1954. Founder and current chairman Scot Young established a window cleaning company after emigrating from Scotland to Canada as a teenager, before moving into contract cleaning there and in the UK. In 1985 the switch was made into manufacturing, influenced by the company's service roots in cleaning.
