T4Media
T4 Media Limited, the innovative London based transport advertising firm, was founded in 1999 by CEO Marco Pieters. Three years later, T4 became one of the youngest companies ever to win a Campaign Media Award for a new medium. This was for AdBarriers (then called TicketBoy) - featuring a campaign for Pizza Hut which doubled sales for the company. T4 Media went on to acquire the exclusive rights to market car park entrance and exit advertising space in all parts of the UK at sites operated by National Car Parks Ltd and all major airports, as well as those operated by Westminster and many other City Councils and Shopping Centres. All T4's media feature situations where the customer must touch the advertising and where impact can be guaranteed because the client has to stop, look at the advertising and pass through a physical barrier. This philosophy led to the launch of AdGates in July 2000. This medium uses rail station ticket barriers to create another highly successful medium for advertisers. AdGates offers advertisers something truly exciting and fully accountable, as indeed is AdBarriers. Travellers warmly welcome the AdGates medium, with 73% agreeing with the statement 'these days, to be noticed, advertisers need to find new places to advertise '. And 44% also think AdGates brightens up the station ticket machines. Stunning advertising recall figures complete the successful picture. "T4's recent success has come about for two main reasons" says Marco Pieters. "First, the 'car wash effect' of both AdGates and AdBarriers means that agencies and clients understand that their campaigns will be unmissable. Second, as a vast range of top advertisers across almost every sector have now experienced these media, they are truly proven - and of course fully accountable.
