The company is privately owned and was established in 1948. It was built-up on a patented solution for mechanical splicing of wire ropes. We have been the pioneering company in this special field, developing effective methods and equipment for mechanical splicing ever since. Our company owns trademarks like TALURIT, ULTRAGRIP, KONIT, HEXLOC and TALUGRIP in most countries around the world. Other known brands are TALUKON and T-LOC. The parent company is based in Gothenburg, Sweden with subsidiaries near Singen in southern Germany and in Barnsley, United Kingdom. We also have subsidiaries in Ningbo, China and in Singapore. We are participating in standardization works in different countries and are also members in branch organizations like AWRF and LEEA.
