TanSAO

TanSAO is an NGO which was established in Tanzania to provide important educational services for young Tanzanians and their families. TanSAO's main focus is to serve as a resource center to support students who wish to study abroad and then return home to contribute to Tanzania's development. The staff works closely with students and families to first identify appropriate and affordable university opportunities and then help with applications for admission and financial aid when needed. We specialize in helping students gain admission to universities and colleges throughout the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, India, Malaysia, South Africa, and other countries. Our resource center provides free access to relevant materials and information, and also assists students with registration and preparation for the often-required standardized tests like the ACT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, TOEFL and IELTS. TanSAO is a member of the HALI access network, a group that brings similar organizations working in Africa together to help high achieving, low income students in their educational pursuits. We truly take pride in the many successes Tanzanian students have achieved since TanSAO's creation.
