We are a small Tanzanian tour operator who provides holistic journeys to Tanzania in a responsible way. We offer more than the standard journeys and safaris provided by most tour operators. Tanzania Journeys strives to offer something new and different as we want to stand out from the crowd of companies operating in our market. Tanzania Journeys is based in the atmospheric town of Moshi, which nestles in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. Our team includes: Mzee Chandrakant Shah (more popularly known as, Mzee Haria) a Moshi based Tanzanian businessman and hotelier with over 40 years' experience of working in range of businesses in Tanzania. Seema Shah, a Tanzanian who has 9 years of experience working in the community development field in the Non Governmental and Community Basred Organisation sector. Mark Donnelly, a European tour operator with 8 years' experience of marketing, selling and organising tours with specific focus on sports tours. As you can see our team has a wide range of experience to bring to the company. We combine local and foreign experience as well as safari and sports based tour operating with a strong community development perspective to our work.
