Founded in 1972; under current ownership and management; Tate Metalworks, Inc. is a full service supplier of shop-fabricated and field-erected steel and alloy plate products. We provide a breadth of resources and capabilities for our customers, across many industries. Tate Metalworks, Inc. is a Veteran-owned business. We are strategically located near the junction of I-85 and I-26, in Spartanburg, SC. Our manufacturing and management facilities sit on a 35 acre property. Our resources are designed to satisfy the specific requirements of our customers' projects. Our property includes significant acreage for staging of raw materials and finished products. We operate our own fleet of tractors and trailers. Our transportation flexibility allows us to meet the delivery requirements best suited to the needs of our customers and our field-erection operations. We have the design, manufacturing, construction, and project management professionals, to successfully execute projects for our customers.
