Technology Access Foundation
Since 1996 TAF has been a nonprofit leader in changing education and access to educational and career opportunities for students and teachers of color across Washington State. Through four core programs: TAF@Saghalie, School Transformation, Martinez Fellowship, and Teacher's Institute, TAF address three problems that keep students of color away from STEM education and careers: low expectations, a shortage of role models in STEM and lack of access to quality, STEM-focused education. By partnering with public school districts, TAF creates schools with academic environments that eliminate race-based disparity in academic achievement and promote the highest level of student learning and teacher development.
