Techno Chaos

We believe the activities we provide will be similar in appeal to other extracurricular activities like basketball, soccer, or football in that it is fun with serious skill development - but our goal will be to increase their hands-on application of science, technology, engineering and math concepts. What makes Techno Chaos different from educational classroom options is that it makes it fun like basketball, soccer or football and offers the opportunity to use competition to drive the learning experience. The two key management team members are Jeanette Breton ,as President/CEO and Mike Hinkle, as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Together this team brings over 40 years of experience in technology development and projects, over 15 years in computer automation and application development, and 10 years experience teaching children the full range of technical and non-technical skills to compete in FIRST Robotics competitions. The FRC robot that was developed in the Spring of 2010 with Jeanette and Mike's mentorship placed sixth out of sixty-six teams and went on to the semi-finals in the Houston FIRST regional that serves the state of Texas - and this was with a team of student rookies. We also coached and mentored the Sugar Mill Sparklers FLL team this last Fall of 2010 to move on from their qualifier to the regional championship. The Sparklers went on to the final rounds in the regional championship, but lost in the last round before the semi finals to the winning championship team. The enthusiasm and energy that we have seen by children in these competitive environments that drive learning is what we want to foster in Techno Chaos. With our diverse backgrounds and "can do" attitude, together we hope to foster teamwork, problem solving, creativity and a fun learning environment to build future leaders in technology, innovation and business.
