Technoforce has been providing Pilot Plant Trial facility for feasibility studies and process optimization since the last 25 years. An overseas customer approached Technoforce for the concentration of their newly developed product using our Thin Film Evaporator. During initial interactions, it became evident that the upstream process could be vastly improved by using continuous Liquid -Liquid Extraction. Also, on the downstream, the expensive solvent could be recycled using a Distillation Column. Trials were jointly conducted in our Pilot Plant facility at Nasik, India to optimize the process of extraction and thin film evaporation. The time required by the client for taking their new product to the market was significantly reduced because several critical technologies could be obtained from a single supplier. Customer's quote "Pilot plant scale trials on evaporation and extraction equipment of Technoforce were vital to our process development program. The information learned enabled designing and building a full scale production facility with a high degree of confidence and considerable cost savings." Since not all potential overseas customers can send their material and technicians to our Indian Pilot Plant facility, we have started a second Pilot Plant Test Center at Geelen, The Netherlands in December 2013.
