Temple School

We offer an extensive range of IGCSE, and WAEC subjects, and have recorded consistently improving results over the years. The school's design in all sections incorporates the latest thinking in planning and layout, building standards and information technology. The classroom resources are all brand new and therefore specifically designed to complement the curriculum. Temple aims to provide a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment where everyone is valued equally. We are a co-educational and inclusive school, with small class sizes. Our entrance exams are designed to give us an authentic snapshot of students' entry levels. To inspire our children to be successful lifelong learners, effective contributors, confident individuals and responsible citizens of the world we work in partnership with home, community and other local and international service providers. Assessment is a continuous process, which is integral to our teaching. We assess children in order to ascertain what they have learnt, so that we can plan the next stages of their development. Much of the assessment is based on the teacher's professional judgement of the child's achievements and is backed with evidence of the child's work. ACADEMIC STAFF We have very special qualified and experienced teachers plus special needs/support teachers. Most children have 'special needs' at some time during their school life. Our teachers are able to meet the wide range of academic and social needs of most of the children in their class. Those children with either learning difficulties or exceptional abilities receive additional support.
