TEPCO Contract Glazing, Inc. (TEPCO) is a successful 29 year old regional glazing contractor committed to its leadership position and its ability to satisfy customers needs. We specialize in the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of curtainwalls, windows, glass and glazing. Additionally, TEPCO has completed major renovations and has installed its proprietary Suite ViewTMTEPCO Motor Operated Window Systems in over 50 stadium projects. TEPCO has based its success on hiring and maintaining quality people and being innovative in the marketplace. Our current staff is built on a strong base of experience and knowledge of the Glazing Industry. We are proud to present a sampling of our staff: William C. Keen, P.E., President- a Registered Professional Engineer with 37 years in the industry. He has had key responsibilities for major curtainwall projects around the world, including the design and project planning review for the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the world's tallest curtainwall installation at the time of its construction; and U.S. Operations Project Management responsibilities for the "Little Britain" complex in London, England, a $58 million dollar (U.S.) cladding contract. He was Vice President of the Architectural Products Division and a Board Member of AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association). He was on the Engineering Advisory Panel for the Aluminum Association's "Aluminum Design Manual". He also co-authored the 1986 FGMA "Glazing Manual" and the 1997 GANA "Glazing Manual", our industry's "bible". Charlie Condit, Vice President, Operations- 37 years in the cladding and Glazing Industry involved with high-rise, mid-rise and low-rise projects in the Midwest and Southern United States. Before joining TEPCO, Charlie was Vice President of Construction at Thomas Glass Company for 11 years. Prior to that he was General Partner of Golden Bear Glass, LLC for 5 years. In his 20 earlier years after graduating from Ashland College and completing his service in the U.S. Coast Guard he has held multiple roles in the industry including technical salesman, fabrication division manager, Vice President, and President of Condit Construction Products. Furthermore, Charlie has been a committee member on Glass Association of North America task groups which prepared the GANA Project Manager's Manual. He has also been a presenter at 6 GANA Project Management Educational Seminars. Gary Jean CSI, CDT- Vice President, Window Systems- 31 years in the Glazing Industry. Gary spent over a decade with Butler Manufacturing's Vistawall Division in the United States, in marketing and management. He was recognized as Vistawall's top producing Service Center Manager during his tenure and one of Vistawall's top Sales Representatives with several production awards to reflect his commitment and dedication to his customers. Gary is a member of CSI (The Construction Specification Institute) as a CDT (Construction Document Technologist) with over a decade of experience aiding the Architectural community with Aluminum applications and specifications. His 'can do' attitude reflects TEPCO's commitment to the industry and its customers. Billy Pope,Senior Consultant' Design Development - over 50 years in the cladding and Glazing Industry involved with low, mid and high rise curtain wall projects throughout the United States and Internationally. Before joining TEPCO, Mr. Pope was with Curtain Wall Design and Consulting, Inc., one of the largest curtain wall consultants in the world, for 35 years serving in various capacities including: 18 years as General Manager, 2 years as Principal, and 9 years as Senior Consultant. He has been involved in system design of projects in seven countries. He has designed curtain walls and cladding systems for numerous glazing subcontractors and metal manufacturers. He has extensive experience in proving/trouble shooting system designs at design stages and at performance mockups. He has continually demonstrated a commitment to successful, buildable and workable projects. Mark Simowitz, Oklahoma Area Manager- 30 years of industry knowledge in the supervision and installation of multiple aspects of glass and cladding systems. Mark's experience includes high, mid and low rise curtain wall and window projects throughout Missouri, Connecticut, New York and Oklahoma. Mark started his career in construction as an Ironworker after completing his service in the United States Air Force. He then held positions in Estimating and Senior Project Management with Suntech of Connecticut, Inc, and Vice President of Operations with Engineered Glass Systems of Missouri. Brian Keen, Production Manager- 23 years in the Glass and Glazing Industry. Prior to this position, Brian had worked 10 years with TEPCO as a Project Manager and 5 years as a Branch Manager with Binswanger. As Production Manager at TEPCO for more than 5 years now, Brian has successfully introduced BIM Modeling and AutoCAD Revit 3D and has grown TEPCO's internal Engineering and Drafting capacity. Rick Ransopher, Field Operations Superintendent and Safety Director- 27 years of industry experience in the supervision and installation of multiple aspects of glass and glazing systems including projects such as the Texas Motor Speedway, the Ballpark at Arlington and numerous other high, mid and lo-rise buildings throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. During his tenure as Safety Director 100% of all field employees at TEPCO became certified in MSDS, Fall Protection, OSHA 10 hour and OSHA 30 hour as well as 60% in CPR/First Aid/BBP, and 70% of all field erectors certified on scissors and aerial boom lifts. Jason T. Merritt, CSI, CDT, Director of Sales & Estimating- 22 years in the Glass and Glazing Industry. Jason managed the Oklahoma and Arkansas territories at U.S. Aluminum for 5 years. He spent 5 years as an estimator/project manager for Advantage Glass, Inc., in Tulsa, Oklahoma then returned to Dallas as the local sales representative for YKK AP. Jason has served as a Chairman of the Young Constructors Forum of AGC, as President of the Texas Glass Association, North Texas Division and sits on the Texas Glass Association Statewide Board of Directors. Tonda Kirby, Sr. Project Manager- 34 year veteran in running major glass and glazing projects throughout the Midwest and West Coast. She has managed all aspects of projects from storefronts to mid-rise through 42 story custom curtain wall buildings. One of Tonda's achievements includes successful management of the 42 million dollar curtain wall MGM Grand Hotel & Casino project in Las Vegas. Ronald S. Clark, Sr. Project Manager- Over 30 years in the curtainwall profession with the last 20 years of his experience in the design, engineering, manufacturing, installation and management of monumental unitized curtainwall projects in the USA as well as internationally. In addition, Ron has a lengthy experience of hands on involvement with hurricane impact design, seismic design, rain screen design principles and laboratory mock up testing. Prior to joining the Tepco team, Ron worked for a number of years as an Engineering Manager and Senior Project Manager for two of the largest unitized curtainwall manufactures worldwide. Helen Wells, CPA, Controller-Honors Graduate of University of Texas Dallas. Licensed CPA since 1993. Helen has specialized in commercial construction for the past 14 years.
