In fact, there were very few businesses in the Montrose area where our first store was built. Since then, Houston has grown considerably to be the 4th largest city in the U.S. and Texas Art Supply has grown with it. Houston now has a thriving arts community and we are fortunate to be in the center of it, supporting visual artists of all kinds. Thanks to the continued patronage of our customers, from students to hobbyists to professionals, our flagship location on Montrose Boulevard has grown to be the largest arts and crafts store in the country, stocking over 60,000 high quality, name-brand products for crafters, painters, sculptors, educators, architects, illustrators, photographers, and more. We also have an amazing paper department where you can find everything from unique handmade papers from around the world to the perfect card stock for your next party invitation [note: most of our paper products are only sold in our stores and are not listed on this website].
