Thai-Scandic Steel Co.,Ltd. was first established in 1990, with a registered share capital of Bt100 milion, in a joint venture between Berli Jucker PLC., Thailand and two specialists in steel fabtication from Norway (A.S. Betomas / Jarlso Fabrikker). Today, as a member of the Charoen Commercial Group, one of Thailand's major business organization, Berli Jucker PLC., is now the sole owner of Thai-Scandic Steel Co.,Ltd. with a registered share capatal of Bt560 million. Thai-Scandic Steel Co.,Ltd. as a subsidiary of Berli Jucker PLC., has become Thailand's leader manufacturer of galvanized steel sturctures, supplying transmision line tower, telecomminications towers, substation structures and a host of general industrial steel structures for both the local and global market. Thai-Scandic Steel Co.,Ltd. opertes a fully integrated manufacturing plant offering an extensive range of complete engineering design and fabrication facilities that includes hot-dip galvanizing and modular packing services.
