Thamel.Com registered in 1999 provides various information technology based services using ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) as a key tool of development and deployment. It has been maintaining a portal with a registered name as www.thamel.com and extending different types of services to Nepalese Diaspora, Expatriate Community, Local and International customers' base. Thamel.com (www.thamel.com) is Nepal's first e-commerce company. Today with a team of 23 staff members it caters to Nepalese Diaspora residing in various parts of the world enabling the Diaspora to buy various products and services for their friends and families back here in Nepal. Diaspora can also send money through the Internet and finance loans for themselves to buy house, apartments, land and automobiles in Nepal.
