Thames Pathology Services is an independent Cellular Pathology laboratory established by a team of Pathologists and health care professionals to provide a comprehensive Histopathology and non-Gynae pathology service of the highest quality to the South-east of England. Our core aim is to provide the highest quality report to assist the referring clinician in further patient management whilst also emphasising turnaround times, flexibility and dependability. The laboratory is committed to continuing compliance with CPA (UK) Ltd accreditation standards and recognises the importance of accreditation in providing quality assurance. We continuously strive to maintain the highest standards in both quality and clinical governance. Case reporting is performed by a group of consultant pathologists, each of whom hold a substantive appointment in the NHS and have many years of experience within the NHS and independent sectors. They are supported by experienced technical and administrative staff. The laboratory is equipped with the latest technology to support a service that is both efficient and effective.
