KLU
The Library provides mainly online resources. Access to information resources, publications and data should be easy and available wherever and whenever you need it. This also makes it easier to use and share found information with others, e.g. for group assignments and research projects, thus enabling collaboration and work across borders and around the clock. The KLU Library is a hybrid library, as we also have a well-stocked print collection, mostly books, few print journals and reference media. We offer many library and information services; we set up access to books, journals and databases, enable loan of library media, maintain course literature shelves, offer subject search and research support, train information literacy skills, help with references, printing, scanning and software, support getting materials at other libraries, and much more. Read about our services here. The Library is part of the Information Management & Library Department. We are responsible for developing a sustainable information infrastructure at the KLU to support teaching and research activities. We cater to and co-operate with all our user groups, e.g. when developing new services. Successful in-house corporations and implementations include supplying course literature, the KLU publications database, our link resolver, research projects database and documentation, discovery services and the campus management system. The Library continues to grow and develop its collections and services. We apply a pragmatic step-by-step strategy, e.g. in collection development and when introducing search tools and resources. We welcome ideas for improvement and are often able to implement proposals from students and staff.
