Description Offering a hand selected inventory of high quality acoustic instruments, accessories &a; instruction in Guitar, Mandolin, Fiddle/Violin, Banjo, Bass (upright acoustic &a; electric) from the areas top acoustic musicians. With over 30 years experience in the Acoustic, Bluegrass &a; Americana music industry touring internationally and recording for a major record label, The Chapmans have opened a home base to offer hand picked instruments and instruction. Stop by and see us about setting up a time slot or just sit down and pick a little. The Chapmans have been a touring bluegrass band since 1989 playing around the world at bluegrass festivals, Concerts, even the Grand Ol&s; Opry. While home from tour, the individual members of The Chapmans teach private lessons on guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and bass. When the opportunity came about to open a retail music shop where they had been teaching, John, Jeremy, and Jason Chapman opened The Acoustic Shoppe. Specializing in acoustic instruments, we are able to focus on the part of the music industry that we&s;ve known since we were kids. We sell top new and used instruments, (banjos, mandolins, guitars, fiddles, basses, ukuleles, dobros) strings, accessories, and offer repair a set up for all of the above. We also have expanded our lesson program to include some top performing professionals outside of The Chapmans.
