The Ballard Group, Inc. was founded in 1978 to provide quality mechanical engineering services with specific emphasis on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, fire protection and medical gas systems design. The size and composition of our company allows us to be particularly responsive to project Owners, Owner's Representatives, Architects, other Engineers, and Contractors. The firm currently employs 25 people; six of whom hold Professional Engineering (PE) Licenses, one is a Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD), and six are LEED® Accredited Professionals (AP). The four principals alone have almost 100 years of combined experience in Mechanical Engineering. Tom, Matt and Bert hold current Professional Engineering (P.E.) licenses in Colorado and 19 additional states; and Tom, Tim and Matt are Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professionals (LEED AP) by the United States Green Building Council. Our operating philosophy is to provide sound, innovative engineering services tailored to the needs of each client on time and within budget. We strive to be forward-thinking engineers who use our collective experience combined with industry innovations to deliver energy efficient and cost-effective mechanical systems. We meet our lofty objectives with a combination of high standards and broad experience drawing from a variety of related engineering projects, and tireless communication. A company's reputation for consistently performing its job to the satisfaction of the people who employ it is best judged by the volume of repeat business. We perform ~90% of our work as repeat business with previous clients. This is true of both locations. We consistently earn the respect and trust of our clients with sound engineering and highly personal response and service; building new affiliations into long-standing, successful relationships.
