The Border Mill

We specialise in spinning alpaca fleece for owners and breeders across the UK and Europe; and can process any quantity from a single fleece upwards. There's lots of information in the section on fleece processing about the various options and prices, and tips on how to prepare your fleece. We also make our own range of natural and hand-dyed yarns, in pure alpaca and very special blends with other luxury fibres, all grown in Britain. Our Mill Shop also has a small range of handwoven scarves, wraps, blankets and rugs, as well as details of our workshops in handspinning, natural plant dyeing, and handweaving.
