In 1995, Brown Construction of Northwest Florida, Inc. was established with the original direction including general contracting focusing primarily on industrial/commercial cast in place structural concrete construction and general utility and excavation construction. Within two months of our first year it became evident that the need and opportunity for growth as relative to our expertise and comfort was in the underground utility and excavation construction with focus on Storm Drainage System, Sanitary Sewer System and Potable Water System improvements, additions, repairs and retrofit. Subsequently we added our Contractor V license for the construction of Private Fire Mains in the State of Florida. Currently, between the two owners and a son, we hold a State Certified General Contractor license, 2 individual State Certified Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor licenses and 3 individual State of Florida Contractor V Private Fire Main Contractor licenses. With our credentials, our financial stability and the confidence of an A+ rated bonding and insurance company we expanded our client base to include Private Commercial and Residential, Municipal, Government and Military construction opportunities. Our growth has been conservative and moderate in order to maintain the control we felt necessary in our effort to provide the best in service and quality. Our company maintains stable base of administration and staff with extensive experience affording us the ability to maintain the consistency required of a successful construction company. Additionally, this consistence coupled with our dedication to efficiency has also enabled us to provide a significant and encompassing benefit package for our employees.
