Common Man Roadside

The expanded Welcome Centers, built with distinctly New Hampshire themes and complete with General Stores, Common Man Roadside Food Courts, Hi-Way Diners, Common Man Joe Cafes, and fueling stations, opened to the public in the spring of 2015. The large mill-style buildings on both sides of the I-93 feature dining options to catering to every taste, 24-hour New Hampshire General Stores, Visit NH information desks and video screens, and clean rest rooms. Both facilities are adjoined by expanded NH Liquor & Wine Outlets. The NH General Stores feature everything visitors and residents could need as they explore New Hampshire, from "grab and go" food items and drinks, to camping supplies and souvenirs. The Food Court offers a wide variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads and "fast-fired" pizzas. The Hi-Way Diners are a nostalgia trip back to the 1950's with a variety of lunch options and breakfast served all day. The northbound Hooksett Welcome Center celebrates New Hampshire's natural environment with a waterfall, a carved tribute to the Old Man of the Mountain, a suspended Covered Bridge and a large historical relief map of the Granite State. It also features a separate "Donut Shop" where fresh apple cider donuts are made daily, and a Creamery offering a variety of homemade ice cream. Northbound is also home to a Merrimack County Savings Bank branch with 24-hour ATM, and a League of New Hampshire Craftsmen retail store. The southbound Hooksett Welcome celebrates New Hampshire's industrial heritage and features a large working water wheel. A Common Man Roadside Company Store features a variety of clothing, New Hampshire souvenirs, and homemade fudge. The Common Man Roadside is expanding its "restaurant within a rest area" concept to a "restaurant within a convenience store. The new Common Roadside Market & Deli opened in Plymouth, New Hampshire (off Exit 26 of I-93) in October 2019, and a second market is set to open in Manchester in 2020. The CMan Roadside Market & Deli features an open kitchen, fresh food made-to-order, "grab and go items", New Hampshire-made products, a gas fireplace and seating area, and fuel pumps. Plan to visit the Common Man Roadside at the Hooksett Welcome Centers and the Common Man Roadside Market & Deli for a unique dining experience. You'll be glad you did! Baked Fresh
