Hi, Im Matt Belitsky. Thanks for reaching my home on the Internet! For years, Ive been working full-time in Sales Operations; however, throughout my career, Ive held job titles that dont make it completely clear this is my primary focus. My definition of Sales Operations has expanded over the years- starting as off as the owner of the CRM- and now anything that resembles a force multiplier from being a thought leader on sales productivity to owning the entire sales stack and building repeatable revenue processes, focused on profitability, across the entire Go-to-Market team. LinkedIn defines Sales Operations as a range of tactical and strategic responsibilities across nine key areas. These are: Ive been fortunate to work with a variety of clients in my career- from well-funded venture-backed companies, scaling at the speed of light, to startups on the brink of bankruptcy. Each experience has helped me hone my skillset with the areas listed above. Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life. As you may have guessed, I embrace building what endures. Im very passionate about my work product, including supporting, mentoring, and advising those who work closely with me. Also, I geek out on the instrumentation and impact data can have on any organization! Sales Operations is sometimes shortened to SalesOps, and in recent years reimagined as Revenue Operations/RevOps (to imply there is pre- and post-sales responsibility), Revenue Acceleration/RevX (which tends to include Sales Enablement), and Go-to-Market Operations (which may consist of supporting customer-facing departments beyond- Sales, such as Business Development, Marketing, and Support). Since Sales Operations is the most commonly used title on LinkedIn among these variations, I prefer to associate myself with it above all else.
