The Independent Recording Arts Society

The IRAS is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit entity founded by Matthew Winn, a talented singer, songwriter and sound engineer from Dallas, in April of 2013. Initial concepts of The IRAS were developed by Winn and four friends also passionate about music. The group strived to develop a selfless organization that would change the independent music industry by developing talented individuals into artists that will be embraced by mainstream media, in not only in Dallas/Fort Worth but both nationally and internationally as well, through the development of their music quality, brand and image. The IRAS frequently hosts events such as Spring Break Bash, Live4Life and Jam Station Session. We have also conducted numerous photo-shoots, music video shoots and artist interviews, which are available on our YouTube Channel. The company is currently developing a slew of projects for 2015 that will further cement us as a force in the world of music.
