The Matthews House

The Matthews House focuses on five main areas to help these youth and families develop the skills and knowledge to move into and maintain an independent living situation. These areas are: Safe and Affordable Housing, Physical & Mental Health, Employment, Education, and Independent Living & Social Skills. In addition to these skills, clients are surrounded with a community of support, including an adult mentor or family coach. Who supports The Matthews House? The Matthews House receives private donations as well as local, county and state grants. Funding is also received through contracts with county and state agencies. The Matthews House also holds three major fund raisers throughout the year.
