Morning Star Publishing Company is a Michigan based Communications Company circulating from St. Johns to St. Ignace and Traverse City to Bay City, reaching a vast number readers. The group consists of one daily newspaper, The Morning Sun in Mount Pleasant (among Michigan's premiere tourist destinations, as home to both Central Michigan University and the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort), two non-daily publications and a comprehensive list of northern shoppers; offering mid-Michigan's most effective coverage and advertising options. Morning Star Publishing Company is an affiliate of Journal Register Company which owns many daily and non-daily publications, as well as commercial printing and software development companies. All of the Company's operations are strategically clustered in six geographic areas: Greater Philadelphia; Michigan; Connecticut; Greater Cleveland; and the Capital-Saratoga and Mid-Hudson regions of New York.
