As you know we have had to modify what we can do and offer throughout the Mowbray to comply with the rules and to keep you and our staff safe during this problem with Covid. This has an impact on our Breakfast. In particular we have to reduce the number of tables at which we can serve you to keep you at safe distances and not facing people outside of your bubble so there can be a delay in a table being available for you and getting it ready after an earlier use can take a bit longer. We cannot offer any buffet to save guests moving around each other and mingling or any items that may be touched by one guest being used by another. So Salt Pepper Condiments etc are individual sachets and your selection is prepared in our kitchen and brought to you rather than you selecting and helping yourself. We have also slightly simplified our menu so we can better cope with these issues. Toast, Croissant, Fresh pastry, French baguette, American pancake, Waffle Served with butter and a choice of fruit jams, honey, syrup, Nutella or Marmite. Choice of cereals - Cornflakes, Coco-pops, Alpen, Weetabix, Rice=-crispies, Nut crunch and special gluten free. Yogurt - Full fat live Greek yogurt, Scotch Porridge Oats Full English Cooked breakfast with all or any of - Bacon, eggs (Cooked as you like), sausage, baked beans, tomato, mushroom, hash browns, fried bread, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. To find The Mowbray by road, from the A27 or A22, follow the signs to Eastbourne seafront. Turn right on the roundabout at the Sovereign Leisure Centre and follow the road along the seafront. You will travel along Royal Parade, Marine Parade and Grand Parade as you pass the pier on your left hand side. Lascelles Terrace is the 7th turning on the right after you have passed the pier the turning being immediately after the Eastbourne Centre (formerly The T & G building).
