Premier was formed in 2007 when Dan Paulson and Scott Moore purchased Printec Press. In the following year, they acquired two additional Champaign, Illinois-based printers, Crouse Printing and Mailing and Custom Color Graphics. All three original companies were founded in the 1970s. An attractive common thread within these companies was their client-centric cultures.
