The Strum Group is proud to support local charities. We are fortunate to have meaningful work that genuinely benefits our clients and local community. With every transaction, The Strum Group donates to wonderful Charities who work tirelessly to improve the lives of others. By working with The Strum Group, you support Connor's Heroes and Homes For Our Troops. Connor's Heroes was founded in 2006 in honor of a little boy named Connor Goodwin, who triumphed after a long battle with cancer. Connor's parents decided to start Connor's Heroes Foundation as a salute to all of the HEROES in their lives and as a way to help others through their childhood cancer journey. Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) was established in 2001, and is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds mortgage-free, specially adapted homes nationwide for severely injured Veterans. HFOT builds these homes where the Veteran chooses to live, and continues its relationship with the Veterans after home delivery to assist them with rebuilding their lives.
