We offer a fairly unique balance of practical hands-on capability and technical analysis with our specialist subject being independent consultancy on the use of screening and related process technologies, both on treatment works and in sewage systems. Since inception, the Company has received commissions from every UK Water Company and many world-wide institutions. We have managed collaborative research projects, co-authored several WIMES Specifications and are recognised as the independent authority regarding the UK National Screen and Screenings Handling Equipment (SHE) Test Facilities, giving the industry comparative methodologies for equipment performance. These are useful in evaluating competing technologies, resulting in significant improvements in asset performance. We have been involved in the development of similar methods for classifying the performance of Grit Removal Equipment, produced various selection and design guides for equipment such as Storm Tank Cleaning Equipment, and developed a methodology for classifying Peak Flows / Loads received at STWs. We also conduct site-specific investigations for unusual or problematic sites, perform multi-location asset condition surveys, and offer bespoke training services, together with Totex comparisons and procurement (Framework Agreement) advice.
