Thrifty Florist is a family owned business with its roots in the metropolitan Detroit area. The first store was started on the Westside of Detroit at the corner of Grand River and Telegraph Road. We started by bringing in flowers by the truckload and selling them at unbeatable prices. We eliminated the middleman and passed the savings on to our customers. When we bypassed the middleman, we found that we were selling fresher flowers than other florists in town; and much to our suprise, our flowers were even fresher than the local wholesalers in town. Customers, to this day, come in and comment about the freshness. Our stores are customer-focused and customer-friendly. We offer quality products at affordable prices situated in convenient locations at major intersections across the Metro area. Accessibility and convenience are important to Thrifty customers, thats why our stores are open before rush hour until bedtime; even on most major holidays, including Christmas.
