Tidewater Turners

Tidewater Turners is a non-profit organization located in Norfolk, Virginia. The purpose of our organization is to promote the advancement of woodturning skills for our members and other interested persons through an open exchange of knowledge, ideas and information. We also strive to increase public awareness of woodturning as a popular craft and as an art form. We are a local chapter of the American Association of Woodturners. Several times a year the club will hold public demos, workshops, shows and wood gatherings. Visit the GALLERY to view current and past events. Twice a year we invite well known woodturners from around the country to give a demonstration of their talents. From past years, David Ellsworth, Cindy Drozda, and Richard Raffen to name a few, and most recently, Warren Carpenter, Frank Penta and Mike Sorge.
