TissuPath is Victoria's premier specialist histopathology practice. Established in 2004 and independently owned and operated by the reporting pathologists, we are very proud of the quality, reliable and friendly service we provide to our requesting doctors and their patients. Our personalised service includes: Clear and concise reports. Rapid turnaround times for reports - most reports are accessible within 24hrs of us receiving the specimen. Reports tailored to individual clinicians - including high quality specimen and microphotographs and specialised synoptic reports. Reports delivery tailored to your practice - we interface with all major practice management software packages and can easily cater for 'paperless' practices. Double reporting of all 'critical' biopsies - including screening diagnostic biopsies and new diagnosis invasive tumours. Unique volumetric mapping for selected malignancies. Prognostic histopathological testing. All our pathologists are medical doctors with full specialist training and accreditation with Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA). They are committed to ongoing personal education attending local and international conferences and participating in a broad range of quality assurance programs. Our pathologists are active participants in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and both primary and collaborative research activities. Our Laboratory is fully accredited by NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) and the RCPA.
