T. Lowell Construction
T. Lowell Construction, Inc. has had a relatively long and eventful history. The company was founded by Tim Lowell in 1973. Tim began in the construction industry in 1964. From 1964 until 1973 he worked as a laborer, a carpenter, an ironworker, a concrete finisher, a foreman, and a superintendent building bridges, overpasses, concrete box culverts, dams, wastewater treatment facilities, and construction of metal buildings. In 1973 Tim founded T. Lowell Construction in Castle Rock. In 1975 the firm's headquarters were moved to Rawlins, Wyoming due to a major homebuilding contract. During the following seven years the firm experienced rapid growth and completed a variety of projects throughout southern Wyoming. Work included home building, commercial building, plumbing, concrete supplier, oil field well site development, road building, and utility construction. The energy and economic recession of the early 1980's required the firm to shift directions. In 1982 the main office of T. Lowell Construction was re-established in Castle Rock at its' current location and began serving the metro Denver area as a concrete and site development contractor. Throughout the past several years business development has led T. Lowell Construction to focus primarily in all phases of municipal utility construction. The company's focus includes new, repair, and replace with a special expertise on rehabilitation/replacement and difficult/constrained projects. Work includes large diameter welded steel and ductile iron transmission lines, major drainage and storm sewer projects, constrained sanitary interceptor projects, and water and wastewater plant work. T. Lowell Construction completes 20 - 30 projects per year, ranging in size from a few thousand dollars up to several million. While the majority of contract work is performed in the greater Denver metro area within the last several years T. Lowell has completed projects in Atwood, the Black Forest, Black Hawk, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Greeley, Hugo, Laramie, Pagosa Springs, and Winter Park. T. Lowell owns all of its' own equipment and tends to rent and lease sparingly. Added value is offered to clients with in-house traffic control plan design, CPM scheduling, and Auto CAD capabilities. Through our varied experience, solid foundation and eye to the future T. Lowell Construction, Inc. promises continued excellence for years to come.
