TMG Construction
TMG was founded in 1992 by Tanya and Joe Matthews. Tanya Matthews, President of TMG, has been recognized by Engineering News Record magazine as a leading expert in the field of design-build construction. Joe Matthews, Vice President of Operations and Principal, has constructed thousands of projects and won numerous quality and performance awards. Since 1992, TMG has grown steadily and sensibly. As of today, TMG employs a dynamic and diverse staff of 75 full-time professionals and craft personnel in addition to hundreds of subcontractors and consultants. TMG's growth and success are closely linked to the quality of our employees. We are committed to growing the next generation of constructors by promoting the professional development of employees and business partners through a culture of continuous education and training. Our guiding philosophy is to "Build Lifelong Relationships" and this includes with our employees, our clients, and our subcontractors. TMG's work is successful because our organization values the importance of people and we are committed to continuous improvement and collaboration with our clients and all stakeholders in the process. As a result of the dedication and hard work of our staff, TMG is privileged to perform hundreds of construction projects annually for a variety of clients, including large institutional clients such as major airlines and retailers; Federal government agencies such as the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Aviation Administration and others; local government clients; and for quasi-public agencies, such as the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA). The success and continued growth of TMG are fostered by a strong commitment to our principles, values and mission. Our culture is grounded in understanding our clients' needs, honoring our commitments and promises, striving for technical excellence, promoting cost effectiveness, creating a positive working environment for all, rewarding excellence, and respecting the environment and humanity.
