Transport and Main Roads

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is a department of the Queensland Government and is responsible for managing Queensland's state-controlled road network of over 20,500 miles. The Department was formed in 2009 when the former Queensland Transport and the Department of Main Roads were merged. The Department includes regional and divisional offices, customer service centers, and marine operation bases. TMR is headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
