THE TOHOKU BANK, LTD. is a Japan-based regional bank that operates in five business segments. The Banking segment is engaged in the provision of banking services such as deposit, loan, commodity trading, securities investment, domestic and foreign currency exchange, bond registration, loan guarantee and others. The Credit Cards segment provides cashing services and shopping services, among others. The Credit Guarantee segment is engaged in the credit guarantee business for loans. The Leasing segment leases, purchases and sells machinery. The Software Development and Sale segment develops and sells computer software.
