Townends was established over 100 years ago as a small rural practice of Chartered Accountants. Since then the firm has grown to what it is today and is now one of the largest accountancy practices in the area with offices in Goole, Pontefract, York and Selby. Our core client base is owner-managed businesses and we act for clients throughout the UK and worldwide. We expanded our traditional accountancy practice many years ago to meet the needs of our clients by adding complementary services through JMG Townends Insurance Brokers and Townends Wealth Management Limited to create a 'one-stop shop' financial services group. Working closely with our clients to become their Trusted Advisor we have a first class reputation for what we deliver.
