Toowoomba Regional Council

Toowoomba Regional Council is the council for the Toowoomba Region which is a local government area located in the Darling Downs part of Queensland, Australia. Prior to it's establishment in 2008, the Toowoomba region had been recognized under eight separate entities: City of Toowoomba; Shire of Cambooya; Shire of Clifton; Shire of Crows Nest; Shire of Jondaryan; Shire of Millmerran; Shire of Pittsworth; and Shire of Rosalie. The Toowoomba Municipality was originally proclaimed a piece of New South Wales in 1860.
