Transition Services

Transition Services, Inc. (TSI) was established in 1998 with a simple goal in mind: to provide meaningful employment to those with developmental disabilities. Employment choices for people with disabilities are limited, which is why TSI created six small business enterprises to respond to the needs of our clients and create meaningful and supportive job opportunities that give our clients dignity. The possibility for meaningful work experiences on an individual level increases with each new venture our individuals undertake, adding value to our programs, and encouraging individuals to learn new skills. Today we proudly serve more than 300 people with disabilities. Though more traditional options such as labeling, packaging, and other contract work are available and a good option for many people with disabilities, these opportunities are not for everyone. People with profound disabilities are often overlooked as only having "recreational" options for activities and unable to participate in paid employment. TSI knew there had to be a better way, which is why we created meaningful jobs that bring out the best in those we serve while ensuring a strong product for our customers.
