TranTech Engineering
TranTech is a well-established Puget Sound transportation consulting engineering firm, with roots going back 25 years. Our name has changed a few times-Alpha Engineering Group, Harding Lawson & Associates, and MACTEC-but many of our current technical staff members have worked together for up to 20 years. As a result, we work very efficiently as a cohesive team, which saves our clients time and money. TranTech's focus has always been to provide engineering services for local and state government agencies, such as the Cities of Seattle, Bellevue, Bellingham, Everett, Mount Vernon, Tukwila, and Ferndale King, Skagit and Whatcom Counties; and SDOT and WSDOT. TranTech currently employs 20 professional staff members in two offices located in Bellevue, WA and Bellingham, WA. Our staff's dedication to excellence has been recognized on several projects, such as the Old 99 (Riverside Drive) Bridge Replacement project in Mount Vernon, recipient of the 2004 PCI and PCA awards; the Samish Way Overpass project in Bellingham, which received the 2000 Project Excellence Award; and the Pacific Avenue Overpass project in Everett, which won the 2002 PCI First Place National Award. Moreover, on our five most recent transportation projects, TranTech has received an average performance score of 9.7 out 10, based on the WSDOT Performance Evaluation Form.
