We have been serving the DC Metropolitan area since 1977 as a commercial drywall subcontractor specializing in hanging, framing, acoustical ceilings, and insulation. "Customer Satisfaction is our First Priority". This motto became engraved in Tri-State during the early 90's where we like many other companies came to define quality as, "on time", "with in budget" and "to the satisfaction of the customer". In order to achieve that definition of quality you need happy, experienced employees and a safe working environment. Tri-State was one of the first in the area to require drug testing, safety training, and first Aid /CPR certification. Tenured hourly employees receive such benefits as bonuses, sponsorship for immigrants, vacation, holiday pay, 401 K matching and assistance with tool purchases. Management shares in profits and decision making. This emphasis on our employees inspires not only quality but loyalty too. Most of our employees have been with us over a decade and some over two decades. This same quality and loyalty carries over to our relationship with suppliers, General Contractors, Owners, and Architects, many with which we have been during business with for the past 10 to 20 years. Nothing gives the employees at Tri-State more satisfaction than to hear we were awarded a job because a Project Manager or Superintendant demanded us as the "Subcontractor of Choice".
