Trots Foundation

Trots Foundation is registered as a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) by the NGO's Coordination Board of Kenya under registration certificate number OP. 218/051/14-083/10164 under laws and regulations of the Republic of Kenya. 'Trots' is a Dutch word which means 'Proud'. We are integral part of Fahari Foundation, a Dutch charitable organization based in Grave, The Netherlands. Trots and Fahari means more the same as Fahari also means proud in Swahili. Trots Foundation aims at building better communities through support of vulnerable and needy children in Kenya. We have grown from strength to strength, based on a philosophy of consistently providing assistance to the orphaned and vulnerable children since the year 2010 with unique and enriching care by providing love, education and healthcare. We run a boarding facility, Fahari Foundation Centre, based about 500 meters from Bomani shopping centre in Mtwapa-Mombasa. Trots Foundation strives to Educate, Inspire, and Empower children in Kenya by focusing on education, social and community development. Our core aim is providing vulnerable children an opportunity to access a quality education to realize their untapped potential and promote economic growth by becoming the next leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs in their Kenya, in a loving and caring environment.
