True Charity Initiative

The True Charity Initiative exists to champion a national movement of voluntarily sourced, effective charity at the most local level. What is True Charity? It's actualized. Real charity makes a real... difference. Some good or service is rendered to the poor, and outcomes are measured to ensure the efforts are actually making a difference in the community. It's accurate. If charity doesn't empower the poor, it misses the mark. Empowerment is impossible without some aspect of challenge to help a person become self-sufficient. It's authentic. True charity stems from compassion and cannot be legislated. Government is an institution and cannot be charitable in truth. True charities are privately funded.
