Tugu Kresna Pratama (TKP) was originally established in 1991 under the name of Ratu Sampoerna before changing in late 1994 to Tugu Kresna Pratama due to changes in shareholders and ownership structure. he structure of ownership has undergone an alteration in accordance to the Extraordinary General Meeting on June 24th, 2015 where the majority shares are now owned by PT PLN (Persero) affiliated with the following : Yayasan Pendidikan & Kesejahteraan PT. PLN (63,6%) PT. Andhika Energindo (17,2%) PT. Jasaraharja Putera (9,6%) PT. Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia (6,4%) PT.
