We have established a growing office in the US where the economy is showing greater strength. The prevailing recruiting model in the US is based on volume delivery rather than quality of service so we have a relatively unique approach and are managing to succeed and grow in what is notoriously the graveyard of British business. There is no doubt that the global economy hasn't dealt us a great hand in terms of building a recruitment company. But you simply have no choice if you are striving for growth in a global economic downturn other than to find pockets of buoyancy internationally and focus on delivering a quality product or service, with greater speed and efficiency than the competition. This no nonsense approach to growth has some complications in learning to do business on a global scale, but when you are faced with the option of getting out of your own backyard and achieving growth or stagnating (or worse!) you just get on and do it. This is a significant contributing factor as to why we have consistently achieved 185% compound annual growth and maintained profitability whilst many of our competitors are closing down or rapidly shrinking. We are the global generation and the sooner British businesses realise that and start competing we'll kick the economy into gear more than any politician ever will. Waiting for a British recovery is simply not a viable business strategy.
