Texas Wall Street Women

Texas Wall Street Women (TXWSW) was formed to bring together local women in the investment management business including hedge funds, private equity firms, mutual funds, investment banks, and other money-management firms. Currently, our organization is active in Austin, Dallas, and Houston, holding events regularly in each of the those cities. TXWSW is an exclusive peer network of professional women who are committed to making a difference in their community and to developing and growing professionally. We will achieve these goals through our initiatives in philanthropy, networking, and professional development. Philanthropy -TXWSW supports women's issues in the areas of health, education, and leadership with events/volunteer opportunities throughout the year including an annual fundraising affair. Networking / Mentoring - TXWSW exists to connect women in the investment management business. We host events at least once per quarter in each active city as a way to bring together common-minded women dispersed throughout the state. We also aim to introduce young women to the variety of career opportunities in the investment field. Education/Professional Development - We strive to foster individual professional development by hosting events featuring speakers and seminars from industry, investment, and academia. We have quarterly events in Austin, Dallas and Houston. Membership is open to all women in the state of Texas in the investment management business including hedge funds, private equity firms, mutual funds, investment banks, and other money-management firms.
