University of Arkansas - Fort Smith

University of Arkansas-Fort Smith (UAFS, est. 1928) is a public institution and part of the University of Arkansas System, located in the state's second-largest city. It serves students at this campus and online, and participates in the American Democracy Project (ADP) - a civic engagement initiative. Notable UAFS alumni include professional basketball player Sonny Weems, who has played on several NBA teams - most recently on the Philadelphia 76ers and Phoenix Suns.
