UK Reclamation

UK Reclamation and Recycling was registered on 2nd January 1996 - registration number 3143027. John and Jenifer Purdy set up the company that is now one of the fastest growing recycling companies in the UK. The company's aim is to be dedicated to reducing waste to landfill. John´s background is in the waste management industry. Prior to setting up UK R and R, John was employed by Wimpey Waste Management (later to become UK Waste), as an Area Sales Manager for approximately 7 years. Wimpey Waste´s main activity was in the collection of general and liquid waste rather than any recycling services. John could see opportunities for many of the wastes to be recycled and so formed his own company for that purpose.
